    YALI West Africa, Accra, Ghana

The Young African Leadership Initiative – YALI is an innovative leadership training of young Africans across three study areas known as TRACKS:

    • Business and Entrepreneurship
    • Civic Leadership
    • Public Management

Participants in the YALI events are engaged in a 12-week training (3 weeks of on-site residential learning in YALI Regional Leadership Center West Africa, Accra, Ghana; 8 weeks of virtual distance via technology from your home country; and a final week of on-site at the Center in Accra as wrap-up and presentations). During the program, participants are required to contribute individually and in teams to an interactive and experimental education course which involves project development. Participants are selected from young people between the ages of 18-35, who are ready to take up leadership roles in order to transform their home countries.

The member countries of YALI West Africa include: Togo, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, The Gambia, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Cameroon, and Sierra Leone. These countries are served from the YALI Regional Leadership Center in Accra.
